Recycle Right campaign

It was reported at the Parish Council meeting on Monday evening that the Tarvin Parish Council area has been chosen by Cheshire West and Chester Council to pilot a Recycle Right campaign designed to improve the rate of recycling across the Borough.

Residents should expect a letter to be delivered when the recycling collection takes place on Friday 1st November.

The Parish Council understands that Tarvin was selected because it was the right size with a good mixture of properties, not because we are bad at recycling or putting the wrong items in the bins. It is this latter aspect that is the focus of the campaign because if something that is not recyclable is put in a bin it can, for example, potentially contaminate the whole bin making it impossible to recycle or more difficult/expensive
