Ed: A recorded message has confirmed that the planned Remembrance services below have had to be cancelled due to Government regulations.

Remembrance Sunday on 8 November 2020

This year it will be very different, with an online community service available from Remembrance Sunday.

At St Peter's, Duddon, we are having our Act of Remembrance at 9.30 am.

In Tarvin we are holding an Act of Remembrance at 10.45 am and 11.15 am (each will last 10 minutes and will be in St Andrew's Church). If there is need we will hold a later service at 11.45 am as well. To request a seat please contact the Vicar – email tarvinparish@gmail.com or call 01829 740354. Please state clearly your name, how many are in your household (sitting together with you) and which time you would prefer. We will try our best to accommodate everyone's request but cannot guarantee. You will be contacted with confirmation by the same medium you used to contact us.

Remembrance Day on 11 November 2020

There will be a short Act of Remembrance outside the War Memorial starting at 10.55 am. This is limited on space and needs to be booked using the details above – please state clearly who is in your household and will be attending with you. We only have 15 areas available for households up to a maximum of 4 people. If we are over-subscribed we will accommodate extras in the Church with a live link to the War Memorial Service outside.

All requests can be made from 2 November from 9.00 am and it will have to be on a first come first served basis. If there is available space on the day we can only accommodate people who turn up if there is space! For track and trace purposes your telephone number or email address will be kept on file until 21 days after the event you are attending.
