Rev Jo Brown leaves Tarvin Methodist Church

From Tarvin Methodist Church ....

The service last Sunday, July 14th, in Tarvin Methodist Church was the last to be held by the Rev. Jo Brown in Tarvin.

Rev. Jo has been the minister for the last 5 years and will be moving on to pastures new at the end of July, when she is to take up a position as a Methodist Minister in Leyburn, in the Yorkshire Dales.

Jo took up her position here at Tarvin at a very difficult time when the Covid epidemic caused the lockdown situation and Churches were not allowed to be open. However, she has coped with all these difficult situations and got to know the congregations at all of the churches in our circuit under her care. We thank her for her ministry and friendship to us and wish her and Charlotte the very best of luck in their new home.

A special cake to mark the occasion was served with coffee and tea after the service.
