Road Closures for Tarvin Woodland Fun Run

Below is the text of the notice from Cheshire West and Chester Council of temporary road closures for Tarvin Woodland Fun Run on Sunday 17th September.

(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intends to make an Order in accordance with the provisions of Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect will be to prohibit vehicular traffic on roads in Tarvin to enable the Tarvin Woodland Fun Run to take place on Sunday 17th September 2023

The following lengths of road will be closed from 07:00 to 15:00:

Hockenhall Lane (from the junction of Crossfields to the A51)

Broomheath Lane(from a point 140m south to the A51)

Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

The promoter of this event is Adam Friend, Vicar of Tarvin.
