Firefighters attended a road traffic collision on Christleton Road, where a car had collided with a house leaving two casualties trapped in the car.

Firefighters released the casualties, a man and a woman, from the vehicle, suffering from shock. They were handed into the care of the ambulance service.

Police officers attended the scene too.

As a result of this incident there may be a road closure while the scene is made safe, so it might be best to avoid this road for now.
