ROADWORKS: CHESTER ROAD KELSALL

Please note that COLAS will be carrying out Surface Treatment works on the A556 Chester Road, Kelsall, between Yeld Lane Road to the junction with Barbers View. 

There will be a number of road closures over the next few weeks for different phases of the works.

These are the proposed dates for the Surface Treatment works programme.

Phase 1 – 20th April 2026 – 23rd April 2026. patching and preparation works prior to treatment

Phase 2 – 1st May 2026 for surface dressing works

Phase 3 – 7th May 2026 for sealing in the chippings

Phase 4 – Dates to be confirmed for replacing road markings and road studs.

Please note that the above is all weather dependent and any inclement weather will delay the programme. Any new dates will be reported on the information boards on site and on the CWaC council website.

The closure points are: Between Yeld Lane Road to Barbers View.
