The annual visit of the band and choristers of the Chester Branch of the Salvation Army to Tarvin Methodist Church was held on Thursday 12th December and was a great success.
With a capacity audience to appreciate the music of the band and the singing of the choristers we were all inspired to join in singing the Christmas carols with enthusiasm.
The multitalented ladies of the band gave an impressive energetic performance with ribboned tambours followed by a superb jazz interpretation by their young pianist.
The evening was made complete by the serving of mince pies, tea and coffee.
All donations were gratefully received towards the work of the Salvation Army in Chester.
Thank you to everyone who supported and made this evening a success.
