Save the date – Saturday 20th May 2023An opportunity for local crafters to have a stall and support a very worthy cause.

The U16 girls rugby squad at Winnington Park RFC have invited the CRY
charity down to Burrows Hill and want to celebrate, as well as raise funds for both CRY and the Girls sections, with our Fun Family Festival

CRY – Cardiac Risk in the Young- is a charity dedicated to preventing young sudden cardiac deaths, through research, awareness, screening and support for affected families. Over the weekend of 20/21 May 2023 CRY will be joining us to carry out 200 screenings for 14yr to 35yrs as they can across the two days. (Details of how to sign up for a screening will be released in the new year)

The U16 girls felt this such a worthy cause that they are building a Family Festival around it, welcoming families old and new to the Club, to support CRY in their endeavours.

Saturday 20th May 2023 will see the club transformed into a festival of family events for everyone to enjoy, with stalls, activities, games, competitions and a raffle with some fabulous prizes! – and of course a little rugby!

If you would like to be a part of this wonderful weekend event or you would
like to have a stall on the Saturday, please get in touch.

Women's and girls rugby is very much an upcoming sport, gaining more momentum all of the time and this is an opportunity to support this growth as well as helping CRY continue to carry out their life saving work. Your support will be instrumental to our success; please contact Ashley or Jude (parent team) if you would like any further information. Ashley: ashley@theresilientkid.co.uk or Jude: jdthdod@aol.com

Thank you in anticipation

Winnington Park RFC Girls U16 Squad.
