SHARE Winter appeal

The Methodist Chapel are holding their winter clothing collection for the homeless / refugee charity SHARE.

If you are fortunate enough to be able to have a Christmas sort out, or you spot a few bargains in the sales, please could consider taking a bag of good quality or new items from the list below.

• Sleeping Bags
• Small Rucksacks
• Underwear for ladies/men/kids
• Tracksuit bottoms
• Trainers
• Socks
• Gloves
• Hats/Scarves
• Toiletries

I've got on lot on it's way, but the need is very much still there. Washing clothes isn't much of an option for people who are homeless. Just imagine what a pair of clean pants or socks would mean to a person in this situation!

Ed: a really good cause... so many more are homeless since the pandemic began and businesses went under or had to shed workers, leaving many more people unable to pay their rent or bills and then trapped in a spiral that they simply cannot get out of as they have no address or place they can truly call home.
