The brochure for the Cheshire Rural Touring arts spring season is now available and copies can be found in the Community Centre foyer. It contains full details of all the events taking place in Cheshire in the next few months. Further details can be found on www.crta.org.uk
Sue Hardacre, promoter for Tarvin Community Centre says " There is a wide variety of entertainment that should suit all tastes. One caught my eye was The Conductor, a piece that looks at the writing of Shostakovich's Leningrad Symphony during the siege of the city which is on at both Neston and Bickerton in March. I also have seen a preview of Kali, the story of the World's Wildest Goddess, an exhilarating piece of storytelling and sitar playing, This will be on in April at Upton and Wincham".
The Community Centre will, as usual, be offering two events, the family piece One Man Shoe on Sunday April 22nd at 3.00 pm and Wild Men of the Baroque on Saturday May 5th at 7.30 pm. Though there are no tickets in the Post Office yet, sales have started online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/cheshireruraltouringarts
Sue says " The Committee is delighted to be able to continue offering new and different theatre experiences and hopes that the community will respond by filling the Hall. The arts continue to be central to the Community Centre's vision of what it should be."
