St Andrew Women's group -3 Faithful Friends

The intriguing title of the April meeting was soon made clear , one we all warmly welcomed and appreciated

3 FAITHFUL FRIENDS- CANDY, MEG AND LOTTIE

All Cairn terriers who played an important part in Douglas' life over the years.
Lottie is still a faithful friend of Douglas and Barbara and much loved.

The story of these 3 friends and their influence on Douglas' life was amusing, hilarous and at times emotional . Interspersed with poems written by Douglas, quotations from IF by Rudyard Kipling and music from Katherine Jenkins and Aled Jones, the evening was a great success enjoyed by all who attended.

All of the dog owners and dog lovers among us could identify with the situations and emotions described.

Refreshments with more of Mairi's home made biscuits made a perfect end to this very sociable evening.

Thank you Douglas for entertaining us so well.

Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 3rd May at 7pm.in the Parish Room.
