St Andrew's and St Peter's Churches, in conjunction with The George Heath Foundation and with collaboration from both Tarvin and Duddon Primary Schools, are bringing a little bit of festive cheer to the homes of Tarvin, Duddon, Oscroft and Stapleford.

From this weekend through to 16 December, we will be delivering a bag of goodies to your doorstep. Inside will be:

* a magazine with some carols, colouring and quiz pages for Christmas, including some cracker jokes;
* a Christmas cracker hat
* some chocolate buttons
* a Christmas card from our primary schools;
* a candle, some ribbon and a bag of sweets and in the magazine you will find instructions to make a Christingle.

The circumstances this year will not enable us to hold a Christingle Service in person, so it is going to be a virtual event via Facebook at 4.30 pm on Christmas Eve.

We still have a couple of slots for anyone wishing to help with packing and delivering. Please message me if you are able to and would like to help out. Times are -- bag packing on 3 and 4 December between 10.00 am-2.00 pm in St Andrew's Church, Tarvin, and delivering in Tarvin on 5 December (meet at St Andrew's). There are COVID restrictions on numbers so please let me know if you can help and I will confirm. I apologise in advance if we have more helpers than slots to fill!

Anyone interested in helping to deliver in the Duddon area can you please get in touch with me. We will be putting these bags together along with the ones for Oscroft on Monday, 7 December, between 10.00 am-2.00 pm (volunteers welcome too).
