The St Andrew's Painter's have treated the village to another fantastic display of their year's artwork. The exhibition was held at the Parish Rooms last Saturday,12th September.
The group of 15 local artists meets every Tuesday morning at the Parish Rooms and work on their own pieces of artwork or contribute to collective pieces. They also run workshops with visiting artists to expand the range of skills and techniques. On display this year was a wonderful mixed media piece of art depicting many of Tarvin's landmarks. This piece was created following a workshop run by Conway based artist Jan Gardner. See top picture (www.jangardner.com).
Other pieces on display at the exhibition were a range of techniques and media from still life in oil to landscapes in collage and everything in between. See bottom picture.
