ST. ANDREWS WOMEN'S GROUP AGM 2022

Our September meeting was our official AGM and an evening of lively discussion to organise our future program. Thank you to Rev Barbara for chairing the meeting.

By sharing and voicing our opinions it became evident that more of the same was really whatwe all wanted:
An informal evening of friendship and fun, a variety of speakers and entertainment in a relaxed,safe atmosphere with no pressure.

It was decided:

1) to bring forward our starting time to 7pm,
2) to retain the name of the group
3) to keep the admission charge at £2 to include refreshments.
To enable this an occasional raffle will be held.

A list of suggestions for speakers and entertainment has been prepared and some bookings already placed. A Christmas lunch is planned for the December meeting and next year a summer party to celebrate our 25th anniversary will be held.

Thank you to all who turned out in the very heavy rain to attend and to our very talented cake makers for the refreshments.

If you would like to give us a try then details of our next meeting ,to be held on Wednesday 5th October at 7pm, will be published on tarvinonline and on the village noticeboards.
