St Andrews Women's Group Christmas Lunch

Our December meeting, our Christmas lunch outing, was held this year at the George and Dragon in Tarvin. With our memories refreshed by June and her list we were all served our prebooked meal of choice. From a traditional turkey dinner to salmon on chilli noodles all tastes were catered for and very generous portions enjoyed by everyone.

As is our tradition The Rev Barbara King entertained us by reading a humorous Christmas story. This year from a new children's book by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet called "Oh Christmas tree". It is evident from the rapt expressions on the faces of the audience that this was a great success. A lovely start to Christmas in a happy, welcoming atmosphere with good food, among friends.

There is no meeting in January but we look forward to our first meeting of 2025 in February. We wish you all a very happy Christmas and a healthy and peaceful new year.
