St Andrews Womens Group – December Meeting Report

Our December meeting was the occasion of our Christmas meal held at the Bluebell in Barrow, in true Christmas tradition with decorations, crackers and entertainment.

The Rev Barbara King read a Christmas poem of a very humorous nature and a free raffle provided many prizes for the lucky winners.

The highlight of course was the food. We can only heap praise onto Leonie and her team for giving us a meal of such a high standard with all the trimmings to make it special. After the irresistible desserts we did manage coffee and mince pies. A lovely social evening in attractive surroundings enjoyed by us all.

Thank you again to Leonie and her team and to the Rev Barbara and committee for organising the event. Our next meeting will be the first Wednesday in February 2019.
