St Andrews

Our February meeting welcomed back Liz Weston and once again she entertained us with Part 2 of her Autobiography of a Common Women. We all thoroughly enjoyed the evening and Liz's brilliant skills shone through both in capturing past moments in her life and her poetry. A very talented lady. Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 2nd March when our speaker from Erddig will tell the story of Ellen Penketh.

If you would like to give us a try do come along on the first Wednesday of the month at 7.30 p.m. in the Parish Room next to St Andrew's Church. All are welcome to our meetings, and for £2.00 which includes Tea/Coffee and biscuits it makes a really varied, interesting and friendly evening.

Tarvin Civic Trust thought that posting a display somewhere in the village centre might fit the bill. We considered display boards of all shapes and sizes but where would we put them?
