I think "hanging on every word" aptly describes the photograph taken at our October meeting of the St Andrews Women's Group when our speaker for the evening was Liz Weston. Her humorous anecdotes and accounts of mishaps of an "ordinary life" gave us a very entertaining evening and provided an insight into a life that is far from ordinary. Her talented creative writings and poems were a joy to listen to.
Thank you Liz.

Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 6th November at 7.30pm in the Parish Room when our speaker will be Rev Adam Friend.
Entitled "Sabbatical and Uganda" This subject will appeal to many in the Parish who would like to hear Adams account of his time away, so we are extending our invitation to everyone including husbands, partners and families.
A warm welcome awaits anyone who would like to come along.

Refreshments will be served following the talk.

We are within an interglacial period lasting, with warmer intervals, many thousands of years. The land surface has changed many times most recently during the last Ice Age. A time when ice hundreds of metres thick advanced across Cheshire and its retreat...
