In the Open Forum of the October Parish Council meeting concern was expressed by a resident at the slow progress being made in dealing with the drainage issues on Tarporley Road, at the Tarporley Road end of Hockenhull Avenue, and also close to the junction of Gowy Crescent and Hockenhull Avenue.
The Parish Council has being pursuing this along with a small number of residents and has involved Cheshire West and Chester Councillor Harry Tonge. He has met the Head of Highways and Head of Streetcare on site to discuss the matter and an update is awaited. United Utilities has been involved and a little progress has been made in that they have allocated funds to examine the Hockenhull Avenue issues.
