Tarvin AFC Wildcats Girls Football

Tarvin AFC are launching Weetabix Wildcats Girls Football training sessions, for girls aged between 5 and 8. These sessions are locally run by volunteers, but nationally supported by the FA, and are aimed at increasing opportunities for girls from Tarvin and the surrounding rural villages to play football.

It's such an exciting time for girls and women's football, with the UEFA Women's Euros kicking off in the UK on the 6th July, what better time to inspire young girls to get involved and play football.

Our aim is for the girls to MAKE FRIENDS, HAVE FUN, BOOST CONFIDENCE and PLAY FOOTBALL.

The sessions are run by FA Qualified Coaches with enhanced DBS checks. We are all volunteers and are always looking for more help and support.

* The sessions will be run initially between WEDNESDAY 15th JUNE to WEDNESDAY 27th JULY. We will then break for the summer and start again in September.
* They will be held between 6pm and 7pm on the King George Playing Field in Tarvin (known locally as Tarvin Rec), postcode CH3 8EG.
* The cost is £3 per session, payable at the session in cash please.
