We want to tell you about the changes to personnel that will be happening after the A.G.M in May this year. Alan Wilkinson (Chairman) has decided to retire, as have Vic and Jan Shuttlewood and Bryan Evans. All have served Tarvin and the Community Centre very well over the years and their absence will be keenly felt. But the Centre will continue to serve the residents of Tarvin and the surrounding area as it always has done.

Alan's role is being sliced and diced and distributed among other Committee members. But there is no doubt we have a few gaps that could be filled. We are looking for anyone with some financial ability, to be either Treasurer and or Invoice Manager. Confidence with figure and precision are the key qualities here. On the other hand, maybe you have a way with words, either in a more formal sense of minute taking and letter writing, or with a flair for publicity and marketing? Perhaps you love the theatre and would relish getting involved with promoting the fantastic plays offered by Cheshire Rural Touring Arts? If these sound at all attractive, we would love to hear from you.

One thing I can assure you is that, if you want to step forward, your contribution will be defined to suit your skills and the time you can offer. All Committee members help to ensure that activities run smoothly but no-one has to offer more than they can comfortably give.

We know how much the Community Centre is valued.

Why not pop along for one of the films on our first Friday Film Night of 2019 this Friday 25th January? At 6:00pm Ralph Breaks the Internet (PG) £4 and £3, followed by Bohemian Rhapsody (12A) at 8:00pm £5. Both films were nominated for Golden Globes with Bohemian Rhapsody winning 2.

There will be several committee members around during the evening should you wish to discuss assisting with the running of the Community Centre.
