From Tarvin Methodist Church ....
Thank you to everyone who responded to our appeal for harvest gifts suitable for the Food Bank. An impressive array of tins, cartons and dried goods were used to decorate the church along with gifts of vegetables, flowers and foliage. Most of which was home grown by our very keen gardeners.
The service led by the Rev Anne Gibson was followed by the ever popular harvest lunch.
A truly wonderful traditional celebration was enjoyed by the the large number of people in the congregation.
On your behalf the donated items of food etc will be taken to the Ellesmere Port Food Bank where we know it will be put to good use.
Donations for the food bank can always be made at TMC and St Andrews Church throughout the year.
