From Tarvin Parish Council ....
At the Parish Council meeting on Monday evening it was reported that the Christmas trees on the High Street and Church Street Tarvin will be put up on Sunday morning 1st December by a group of volunteers including the Scouts, their parents and four Parish Councillors.
The large tree which will be put up in the grounds of the Methodist Church has been donated by Mr James Wright of Hockenhull Hall. James is also providing the cherry picker which is essential for putting up the trees on the many buildings. The Parish Council pays for all the other trees and lights.
