Tarvin History Revealed – Cash Help for the Tennis Club

In December 1991, representatives of Tarvin Tennis Club met the then Mayor of Chester, Councillor Sue Proctor, who presented them with an £800 lottery cheque at the Town Hall.

Tarvin Tennis Club had been awarded the money to help with a netting project. The photograph show Club secretary Sue Breeze, treasurer Jean Davies and ladies captain Wendy Rae receiving the cheque from the Mayor.
