Tarvin History Revealed – Death of Popular Local Lady

In July 1996, a locally active lady died at the age of 66. She was well known to local residents at the time and her name will still be known to many newer residents who have visited the Community Centre and seen her name on the room used, amongst other things, for the Tarvin library service. In other words, Enda Rose.

In her memory, and for the benefit of our newer residents, we can do no better than republish the article that Eric Plenderleath wrote "In Memory of Edna Rose" and which was published in the third edition of the Tarvin Parish Newsletter, before her Memorial Service at St Andrew's Church on the 5th October.
