Somethings don't change and so one should not be too surprised to find that in July 1992 the weather on a Saturday was so foul that the St Andrew's Garden fete had to be held indoors at the Primary School. Nevertheless the fete was well attended and the sum of £1,120 raised for the church funds was only slightly down on the previous year. One of the displays was a modern dance display by the pupils at the school.
One of those helping to the raise the money was a parishioner of St Andrew's, Janet Howard, of Crossfields and as a teacher at St Paul's Boughton, it as appropriate that she should be the person helping out on the book stall.
