In the Tarvin History Group's scrapbooks for 1987, an article appears under the title of "Raiders Steal costly foreign fishes"

The article appeared on the 2nd October when "calculating thieves" stole two expensive fish with specialised equipment worth nearly £2000 in a raid on Limestar Tropical at 61 High St.

Thieves took two Amazonian Discus fish, worth £40 each and "must have been taken by people familiar with the aquatic field' said owner Roger Dutton

As well as a small amount of cash, the raiders took equipment which included tank heaters and pumps during the Friday night break in
