In November 1991, five Tarvin youngsters received a certificate each from the Cheshire and Wirral Federation of Youth Clubs after completing a grueling 13-mile hike over Welsh hills.
Tracy Edwards (not in picture), Karen Walker, Amanda Shone, Chris Young and Lee Dawson were accompanied by Mike Stephenson, an organiser from Cheshire and Wirral Federation of Youth Clubs.
