In March 1986 the Chester Chronicle included an article under the title of "Happy as Larry!" As you will see from our picture, the Larry in question were two new born lambs!
Blackie and Blanche were born at Sheaf Farm, Stapleford, but because they were both the third of triplets their mothers rejected them.
The teacher, mrs Ann Flanagan offered to take them off Sue Heath's hands and they were looked after by the school.
