Tarvin History Revealed – Paint Vandals

In August 1994, vandals spread paint over two courts of Tarvin Tennis Club. It became a race against time to salvage the situation because a couple of days later the club was due to play their last match of the season against Brymbo. The fixture eventually went ahead but only after a spirited clean-up effort by Tennis Club Trustee, George Sheridan, who is shown in the photograph with brush in hand.
