Tarvin History Revealed – Pre-School Nursery

In August 1997Tarvin Pre-School Nursery, based in the grounds of Tarvin Primary School, received a visit from inspectors from the Office of Standards in Education (OFSTED) who concluded that it was a good pre-school offering a range of interesting and stimulating activities.

Tarvin Primary School head teacher, Glyn Turner, said "We were very pleased with the results and particularly because the community had raised money to establish the pre-school"

The photograph shows Lorraine Heard, the Pre-School supervisor, keeping up the good work with four-year-olds Imogen Culliford, Lauren Walker and Lucy Cartwright.
