Another picture from Tarvin History Group's Scrapbooks is of Tarvin Scouts enjoying their Rainbow Camp at Tatton Park in July 1986.
Over 2750 cub scouts from all parts of Cheshire attended the Camp. Activities included a Rainbow Quiz, Rainbow activity bases, a village fair and a camp fire!
Celebrating the 70 years of cub scouting with the children were some 1000 leaders, plus the Mayors of Chester and Ellesmere Port and Neston and a special visitor, Miss Dorothy Kinloch, HQ Commissioner for Cub Scouts.
