Tarvin History Revealed – TMC Bake Sale

The Tarvin Methodist Church team have always been fundraising masters.  Here, in typical style, the volunteers managed to raise an incredible £80 (£190 in today's money)in aid of their church flower fund  in just 2 hours at their Bake Sale on 24 November 1995!  The TMC Saturday Coffee mornings are well known for being a great fundraising platform and not just for the Church funds, they give over their coffee mornings to all sorts of local causes allowing those local organisations to raise money for their needs.

Ironically, the next event at Tarvin Methodist Church that year was to be the Christmas Fair on 2nd December!  Here we are 28 years later, the Methodist Church is still raising money for good causes and  planning a Christmas fair on 2nd December!
