Tarvin History Revealed -Trust Rescues Historic House

From the Tarvin History Group scrapbooks for August 1986 a "Charming but dilapidated old house in Tarvin" had been bought by Chester Historic Buildings Preservation Trust. The house is The Church House on High Street, and was the first major project for the Trust which was an offshoot of the Chester Civic Trust.

At that time the Church House had fallen into a dilapidated condition but once renovated it was placed on the open market.
