Tarvin Mah-Jongg Club
We Currently have spaces available on a Thursday Evening.
This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic club and to learn how to play the fascinating and fun game of Mah-Jongg.
Mah-Jongg is a game requiring 4 players and the object is to make up hands of tiles that resemble names such as Dragons Run and The Professors, each player is playing a different hand, speed of play makes for errors which in turn creates penalties such as letting off a cannon.
This game bears no resemblance to the mobile pairs game of the same name which is actually called Mahjong Solitaire The mobile game was created by the Chinese as a children's game to get them used to using the mah-jongg tiles.
There is no correct spelling of Mah-jongg as the game evolved through the western world there are variations in the way the word Mah-jongg is written and the game played.
