In spite of the change of venue due to adverse weather conditions, the indoor garden party was a great success. An old fashioned afternoon of fun, games, crafts, ice cream and refreshments was enjoyed by all who came. With an age range from 1 to 90 there was something for everybody with all age groups willing to try their hand at games of skill and new crafts.
With a raffle and a tombola there were prizes galore as well as for the worthy winners of all the games.
More like a family party than a fund raising event this gave a lot of pleasure to a lot of people and was a good way to start the school holidays.
