Have any of you seen some brightly coloured rocks hiding around Tarvin recently? Have you been wondering why they are there? What are they for? Well it's a game called Tarvin rocks.
Jane Tordoff started this game off in Tarvin and it has been a huge success.
So far the group has 138 members and rocks have been found and re hidden all around the village. Anyone can take part...
To participate in the game is easy – find your rock and decorate it- please ensure it has TARVIN ROCKS written on it!
Jane told us that she uses Posca pens and acrylic paint but many use sharpies, or other craft items! General Emulsion or tester pots can be used as a base coat, but all rocks are best sealed after decorating with either a traditional varnish, spray varnish or clear nail varnish.
You can either hide stones and not seek them, or find and rehide.
All that Tarvin rocks ask that when found a photo is taken and posted in the Facebook group before re-hiding as the kids love to see their rocks have been found! Click the link to below to join.
