The Club continues to field five senior teams in both winter and summer and a junior team in the summer. It has a popular junior coaching scheme run by our coach Gary, who hopes to extend his coaching time once the Club has completed its improvement programme.
Members heard that thanks to the generosity of Sport England the Club hopes to bring the playing conditions up to, or closer to, the standard of nearly every other club we meet in the various leagues, big and small, by installing floodlights and by extending the clubhouse facilities. An exciting project which has already involved a lot of hard work in the planning and preparation.
After the meeting was closed members enjoyed a hot buffet supper followed by a varied and challenging quiz."
