Tarvin Village Summer Fete

A reminder that the annual Tarvin Summer fete will take place on Saturday 29th June from 12 noon to 5pm on the King George's Playing Fields. The Fete committee have been busy organising the event to ensure that the whole family will be catered for.

The event starts with a procession leaving from St Andrews Church at 11:30am to make its way to the playing fields. (see image regarding road closure from 11:15am)

The activities on the field will commence at Noon. Entry costs £2 per person with children under the age of 16 entering free of charge.

Attractions include:

• Stalls offering handcrafted gifts, delicious foods and lots more
• Funfair with a variety of fairground attractions
• Entertainment including Morris Dancing, Viking displays and Music
• Competitions including a Dog show and Wellie throwing (always popular)
• The City of Chester Blue Coat band

There will also be a Victoria Sandwich Cake Competition – see here for details.

The Community Centre Committee will once again be running a bar (including real ale) in the Centre during the fete.

Tarvin Methodist Church will, as usual, be providing wonderful refreshments also at the centre.
