As usual, the Tarvin Community Centre played a vital role at the Summer Fete. This time it ran a well-stocked bar as well as hosting music from the City of Chester Blue Coat band and running a Victoria Sandwich Cake Competition.
The centre also provided a venue for the Tarvin Methodist Church team to serve teas, coffees, cold drinks and a wonderful variety of cakes and refreshments.
Grateful thanks are due to the Fete committee for organising the event and to all who supported it.
To quote the Trustees from the Tarvin Community Woodland Trust -
