The Tarvin Women's Institute held our November meeting on the afternoon of 19 November. We were invited to engage in a creative book-folding activity. Each participant brought along a hardback book and learned to fold its pages into delightful shapes. Although some members found the task more challenging than others, everyone successfully created a charming Christmas tree design and went home with ideas for crafting witches, candles, hedgehogs, and rabbits. This meeting certainly captured the W.I. spirit of friendship and creativity. The afternoon proved to be a lovely social event and was our first meeting, rather than an evening one. It was just as well, as it was extremely cold that evening; attendance may have been affected.
Looking ahead, the next meeting will be our Christmas meal in December.
