Temporary Road Closure – Barrow Lane, Barrow
Notice is hereby given that Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order will be to **temporarily prohibit traffic on the following length of road in Barrow** to allow Severn Trent Water to carry out utility works:
Barrow Lane – from its junction with Hollowmoor Heath to approximately 485 metres east.
The closure will come into force on 13 October 2025 and will remain in place for a period not exceeding 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to take approximately 5 weeks.
Access will be maintained for residents, businesses, agricultural vehicles, deliveries, and for emergency services (fire, ambulance, police). However, a through route will not always be available. Drivers not requiring access should use the signed alternative routes.

* Continue on B5393 (1150.96m)
* A54 Chester Road (868.18m)
* Barrow Lane (518.80m)
* Pool Lane/Barrow Lane (546.74m)
