Thinking of an evening at your local cinema on Friday evening? Tickets for both films on Friday 25th June are still available at the Post Office and the Community Centre is looking forward to welcoming you.
Prices remain the same as before with tickets for the children's film remaining at £3 for a child and £4 for an adult. If you are coming to the later film, the price is a very reasonable £5.
Peter Rabbit 2 is the family film, another caper for this perennial favourite. Doors will be open from 5.30 for a start at 6.00pm. We are asking that families sit together for this, with household separated by 2 metres.
An Oscar winning performance from Frances McDormand is the highlight of Nomadland, the feature film and the doors will be open at 7.30 for am 8.00 start. Please use the Bar Entrance this time.
As the Covid guidance has not changed there will be an audience limit of 40 for each show and drinks will be served at your seat.
Vice Chair Sue Hardacre said "This will be the last Film Night until September when we sincerely hope that we will be able to function normally in the relaxed and informal way everyone is familiar with. We believe that with a limit on numbers, social distancing and masks, we can offer a very safe evening for all who wish to come along"
Limited numbers mean that the film night may not turn a profit, but the Community Centre Committee has decided that offering an opportunity for people to get together is the best way to reconnect residents and move back to living normally – and safely.
