• Great Barrow water main installation – Severn Trent started work on18 August at the junction of Lampits Lane, progressing along Long Looms/ Barrow Lane towards Milton Brook. This section is expected to be completed by mid-October 2025and will be carried out under a rolling road closure. A second team is working from Hollowmoor Heath, working towards Heath Lane, with completion expected by Friday, 3 September. This section will also be managed under a rolling road closure.
• Tarvin Sands water mains replacement. -Until 9 September. -Following multiple water main bursts, United Utilities will bereplacing approximately 1,094 metres of pipe from Tarvin Sands Fisheryto Pool Lane. Traffic management will be in place during the works.
• Carriageway resurfacing programme -The carriageway resurfacing programme runs from August to November. Areas includeChester,Frodsham, Helsby,Malpas,Northwich,Tarporley,Winsford and Middlewich but notably, NOT Tarvin.
