U3a Thurs 26 May – Occupation of the Channel Islands

Tarporley & District u3a will be holding their next general meeting on Thursday 26th May 2022 at Tarporley Community Centre from 10am (doors open at 9.45am). Speaker begins shortly after 10am following a few notices. Our speaker this month is Dr Mark Baldwin who will be speaking to us about The Occupation of the Channel Islands. Dr Baldwin is a military historian, publisher and bookseller, having previously been a lecturer at Imperial College. He gave us an excellent Zoom presentation last year on Codebreakers and the Enigma machine and returns, in person this time, to talk about the Occupation of the Channel Islands.
