In a normal year at this time, Rachael and Keith, from C&K Jones Roses in Barrow Lane, would be busy packing the van up with potted roses and Rachael's fantastic heart displays and heading off to a Spring Show at Harrogate or Malvern. Garden lovers would be packing their picnics and heading for the RHS shows, looking forward to meeting experts like the Jones's and their fellow exhibitors, seeing the gorgeous stands, asking advice and buying lovely plants.

The coronavirus quarantine has put a stop to all that... well, almost. Our lovely friends and frequent fellow exhibitors at Dibley's Nursery have organised a "Virtual Flower Show".

Last weekend, exhibitors shared videos and images of a huge range of plants; from Perennials and Trees, to Cacti and indoor plants, and there were Facebook live sessions of gardening advice nursery tours, hints and tips. Keith will be answered your rose and tree care questions all weekend on e-mail and Facebook.

All the exhibitors have online shops. If you are local and you want to buy roses, we are allowing collections from the nursery gates by appointment which will save you around £9 in postage! Call us with your orders. 01829 740663
