Welcome to Classic Treats, a place where forgotten flavours and childhood memories are brought back to life. Our journey began in 2022 when an opportunity arose to take over an established sweet shop at Blakemere. We moved to Tarvin in July 2025 with one simple mission: to recreate the magic of a traditional confectionery shop that caters for everyone.

My name is Catherine, and together with the help of my husband Trevor and our children, Classic Treats was created. My background in customer service, banking, and retail paved the way for me to make the shop my own, while continuously observing and listening to our customers' needs.

Step inside and discover jars of classic old-school sweets, toffees, and chews sold by weight. You can also choose your own boxed or bagged selection of luxury handmade Belgian chocolates sold by weight. Additionally, enjoy fudge, Snugburys Ice Cream, preserves, gifts, and much, much more. We believe that the simple joy of walking into a local shop and finding your favourite treat can brighten anyone's day.

Many of us miss the old chocolate shop in Tarporley – well, now we have our own fabulous Traditional sweet shop here on Tarvin High Street. Finding Christmas treats for my family is going to be a piece of cake this year!
