Tarvin Women's Institute Meeting / Talk 21 January 2026 at 2pm Edna Rose Room, Tarvin Community Centre
(Please remember, during the colder months, our meetings have changed to afternoons, to avoid members and speakers having to come out on cold winter evenings.)
This month's talk will be 'Bystanders can be Lifesavers', given by Francis Illing.
This will be a practical demonstration of defibrillator training – hopefully not something which we will have to put into practice often, but could be a lifesaver for you, a family member, or a friend.
Defibrillators in Tarvin are placed outside Scout Group Hut, Tarvin Community Centre, Tarvin Primary School, and The Red Lion PH, and In Oscroft on the green in the old phone box; all of which are available 24 hours per day.
We hope to see some new faces; visitors are always welcome. Refreshments and a raffle are included in the admission price of £1 for Members, £2 for Visitors.
Whether you're a regular member or just want to find out more about the use of defibrillators, we'd love to see you there.
