Sabine's War – Eva Taylor

Tarvin Women's Institute Meeting / Talk 21 January 2026 at 2pm Edna Rose Room, Tarvin Community Centre

  • Note – the meeting subject has been changed at short notice due to speaker availability.

(Please remember, during the colder months, our meetings have changed to afternoons, to avoid members and speakers having to come out on cold winter evenings.)

This month's speaker will now be Eva Taylor, talking about her mother's amazing story of survival through two jails and three concentration camps in World War 2.

Eva found letters after Sabine's death which detailed her extraordinary life.

Whether you're a regular member or just want to learn more about the subject, we would love to see you there.

The Talk was originally intended to be a practical demonstration of defibrillator training. Unfortunately, the speaker had to cancel, but we hope to rearrange this for a future date

We hope to see some new faces; visitors are always welcome. Refreshments and a raffle are included in the admission price of £1 for Members, £2 for Visitors.
