Yet another step towards "normality"!

Tarvin Methodist Church takes part in "The World's Biggest Coffee Morning 2021."

Friday 24th September was the official day for the MacMillan Cancer Care fundraiser – The World's Biggest Coffee Morning 2021. One of the really wonderful things about the MacMillan event is that people can run their own version on whatever day they like and everything will contribute to the final total. Tarvin Methodist Church has always tried to use the actual Friday for the event on High Street – and that then means that the proceeds of the Chapel coffee morning on the following day can be added to the ultimate total.

As usual, the day proved very successful in giving friends a great opportunity to catch up with each other and, as the photos show, a very pleasant time was spent by all.

The two hours on Friday succeeded in raising over £200 and donations from the coffee and cake available on Saturday morning brought in an additional £70, meaning that, just from this one of Tarvin's several "MacMillan" Coffee Mornings, we will have raised over £270 – a splendid outcome.
