Breaking News – New Owner of Pryors Hayes Golf Club

Hartford Golf and Leisure Limited have reached an agreement with the receivers of Pryors
Hayes Golf Club, Oscroft, near Chester and will take over the business on 1st January 2014.

Tim Barnes, owner of Hartford Golf said 'We are delighted to have acquired this fine 18 hole
golf course and look forward to developing all areas of the Pryors Hayes golf and leisure
business'.

Co-owner of Hartford Golf, Richard Barnes who lives close to Pryors Hayes added 'The club
has a substantial membership base and a strong team of professional staff which gives us a
great foundation on which to build and grow'.

By combining the resources and expertise of both Hartford and Pryors Hayes clubs, the
members and visitors can look forward to enjoying all the benefits of two of the region's
leading golf courses.

Russell Stewart Cash, Administrators announcing the takeover deal said 'Hartford Golf and
Leisure Limited with their proven expertise and resources made them the preferred bidder
for the Pryors Hayes business. We are confident they will now develop and grow what is
essentially a strong and profitable golf club'.

With a planned expansion of its wedding, corporate and private function facilities and a
programme of course improvements, the new Hartford and Pryors Hayes partnership is all
set to become a winning team in 2014.
